In Java API documentation how many classes are there means that all the classes, interfaces,abstract classes and exception classes.This documentation is from the oracle corporation.The peoples are in the world there is no people can think about the entire documentation of the java so that the reason here I'm providing a some basic knowledge about the java API documentation.

If you want to count that classes you need to download the java API documentation from the oracle corporation and extract that RAR file and go to API folder and then click the "index.html" file and then click on the all classes tab or menu then you will get the list of all classes. Here you will not get any count of that classes because of browser itself is not count that records. So you have to take the help of the Ms-Excel or other application support to count that records best way is to take the support of Excel because it is simple way to count records. After that you select all the classes browser and paste that into the excel sheet to count the records.
